This unit is very adaptable and supports student learning toward the content standards in a number of ways. The strongest connections are in social sciences and the arts.

  • observe and respond to work by Mexican American traditional artists in Oregon.
  • identify Mexican American folk and traditional arts and their functions within a Mexican American community.
