Students' lessons are accelerated by moving the student from their current grade level up to the benchmarks/ grade level standards at their assessed level. Consider the lessons as a work in progress. Several benchmarks and scoring guides have been revised since the time the lessons were written. This document models methods to teach advanced learners by setting higher goals than the regular grade level. The samples of differentiated curriculum were written as models for further planning. Download and use the template below as you begin to plan your own curriculum samples. Although the samples have been grouped into grade levels, teachers are encouraged to look at sections out of their own grade level for possible resources.
