- OMSI Teacher Education
- Portland, OR. Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is a treasure chest of resources and activities for everyone, but science teachers in particular. Check the group workshops schedule, or take advantage of individual after-school Wednesday Workshops on a variety of topics (advance registration is recommended).

- The Project Learning Tree curriculum provides an integrated approach to forestry education through language arts, science, visual arts, mathematics, and other subject areas. Free, introductory workshops are scheduled in several parts of the state. - PMUG offers classes on getting the most out of your Mac on the first four Wednesdays of each month, and Saturday seminars on a variety of topics. Wednesday night classes are free for PMUG members, there's a fee for the Saturday seminars.

- The goal of the Oregon Staff Development Council (OSDC), an affiliate of the National Staff Development Council (NSDC), is to improve staff development for all school employees in Oregon. OSDC supports educational organizations in identifying learning needs and opportunities and in planning, implementing and assessing continuous improvement through staff development. OSDC also sponsors professional development activities.

Directed toward K-12 teachers of science, mathematics, and technology, HOU offers training on using the HOU curriculum.and provides ongoing teacher support for participants.
